I did what I could before Sir. Common Sense dragged me away. I'm afraid it wasn't much help if any. How many months are left again?

Paper journals can be a pain to carry about at times, far too easily lost or destroyed by water. This one I am writing in is new and bound by a waterproof skin, and hopefully, durable as well.
At the moment I have no pressing duties or unfinished business to attend to. The treatment for my sprain administered by the lady, or should I say, healer Regeane, you deserve that title, was more than what I expected. I was able to walk again by evening.
I suppose I should choose my next destination now.

I feel a little foolish.
In my rush to reach the next town before dark, I found myself a ‘shortcut’, which ended up not being so short. By then it was so dark I could barely see two feet in front of me, and added to that we were both tired. To make a long story short, there was a little accident when I dismounted Yfandes and now I sport a sprained ankle. Minor injury, but I don’t think I’ll be in any condition to be walking for the rest of this week. Yet again I’m going to be behind my schedule.
At least Yfandes is enjoying a little break for herself.
